Aluminum Copper Master Alloy (Waffle)
Model: AlCu35, AlCu50
I. Used for adding copper element in aluminum alloy melting. II. Quality and performance characteristics: stable content, uniform composition.
1.Properties & Application:
Copper content: 48～52% for AlCu50 Master Alloy ( 33～37% for AlCu35 Master Alloy). Used for the Cu element addition of aluminum alloys in the course of smelting. Low using temperature and accurate controlling composition.
2.Operation Instructions:
(1). Temperature: 680~720℃
(2). Dosage: According to calculating and experimental results.
(3). Method: Skim off the dross and put AlCu50 or AlCu35 into the molten Al, stirring the molten to homogenate, keep the molten Al static for 5~10 minutes.
3.Package and Storage:
Appearance: white metal nuggets.
Form: Piglet---400g/pc. 25kg/carton, 1mt/pallet; Waffle---10-12kg/waffle, 1mt/pallet.
Keep dry and ventilated.
4. Function and usage
Applied to copper element addition in the course of aluminum alloy smelling, lower addition temperature, and composition control accurately.
